The three witches are decisive roles in the play. In the first scene, the witches say that they will meet Macbeth very soon. Also, in scene three of Act one, they tell Macbetn that he is going to become king of Scotland and tell Banquo, he shall generate a line of kings. The prophecies have the great influence for Macbeth. It is very important that Macbeth think it will come true or not. If Macbeth do not believe those three witches, everything is not going to happen like the prophecies. Another possible that i am thinking about is what the witches say are the reflection of what Macbeth is thinking about. Shakespere creates three witches to show the ambition of Macbeth.
Well, i think our dentiny is always changing may because of one important decision and one important person. No one can pre-determined our destiny but all people want to. Although we cannot pre-determined our future, we still can do things that may have good efforts to our future.
Before reading the first Act, I know Macbeth is one of Shakespeare's "Tragedies". The other three "Tragedies" are Hamlet, Othello, and King Lear. Macbeth is the shortest tragedy but the darkest one among the four tragedies. It takes place in Scotland. The play mainly talks about how a brave general who called Macbeth becomes a curel killer at last.
I know it will be a tough reading for me because Shakespeare's plays are really hard to understand. Although, it is a big challenge for me, I will try my best to learn more about the play.
After reading scene 1 and scene 3 in Act one, Macbeth and Banquo meet three witches, who prophesy that Macbeth shall be Thane of Cawdor, and Banquo's children will secceed him on the throne. Macbeth's ambition is totally showed in the play. It is hard to imagine what is going on next. I cannot wait to read the next scene!
